  • c. 1867. Sarah Elizabeth Fowler (Bessie, nee Rogers) as a baby with her mother who died in 1869 after the birth. Her grandmother, Lee, brought her up after her mother had died.

Fowler (Oxford Grocer)
bought Littleworth Farm (some 38 acres) from Maria Sarah Parrott in 1899, see record 1793 also for Acremead House. The fsrmouse for this farm was 22 Littleworth, now known as Kelly's Cottage, see record 0883. It is not clear whether Acremead was included or bought later but Harry built a splendid brick villa for himself (Acremead House) which still stands today.
