1-7 Kiln Lane were developed between the 1880s and 1890s, presumably as accommodation for the brickworks employees and, presumably, using bricks from this.

Mr & Mrs Belsen lived at 5 Kiln Lane. They helped the Allens with their milk round. Later Catherine Allen (Mrs Barker) lived here with sons John & Tim
