Bryants transferred their business from Station Road to premises at 58 Church Road in 2003, where they already had a site trading as Oxford House Garage (previously Bax garage), as shown in the 1977 Jubilee brochure (previously in the 1940s and/or 1950s, it is understood, this was Bax's Garage and Machine Shop and also a taxi service). The Co-op had planning permission to open a shop, seen under construction in Feb 2005.

In 2000, the site was a petrol station, Q8.
