Archive Notes:

Owned by the Cooper family until 1950's when bought by Fred Smith with planning permission for 3 bungalows. The Quarry face area is now at least the houses at Nos 18 Westfield Road to 24 Westfield Road. The lime kilns are still in existence at 28 Westfield Road.
