Nigel Hawkes' retirement service 14 April 2024. He became the vicar of Wheatley in 2011 with his licensing taking place in a service on 27th September 2011.

During his time, he became involved with Wheatley Area Churches (Chairman Michael Worthington), who presented him with the green stole which bears the names of this, United Reform Church, Wheatley Community Church, St Mary The Virgin, Our Lady of Lourdes, and St. Bartholomew of Holton.
