Collett's garage (now the location of Plastown's travel see record 417) was, reputedly, the oldest in Wheatley.
Colletts garage was destroyed by fire in December 1924 when a motor-cycle back-fired. Two motorcycles an d a car plus a valuable lathe and various tools, tyres and spare parts, full details on attachment with copy of an advertisement from the 1950s.
