William Shepherd

Biography:

Born in Wheatley in 1891, son of Charles and Emily Shepherd. Brother of Charles Shepherd. In 1911 he was an under carter for a farmer. He may have been serving as a Private in the Machine Gun Corps in 1918. In 1921 he was living on Bell Lane. He may have married Frances N. Barson in 1937 in Oxford.
