Notes on Littleworth Farm which was broken up when the railway came to Wheatley 1864.
Photo of Acremead House. Mr Henry Edney (Harry) Fowler (Gentleman) and his brother Frederick Edney Fowler (Oxford Grocer) bought Acre Mead (the land on the north-east side of the railway between Littleworth and Old Road). Harry Fowler built a splendid brick villa for himself (Acremead House) which still stands today (2018).
Acremead was developed in 1959.
